Today was Leah's first day of school! She was so excited; she's been counting down for six months. Her teacher is Mr. Martinez, the same as Hali's kindergarten teacher. She practically kicked me out the door when I took her this morning. She kept saying, "Um, excuse me, Mom. Aren't you leaving?" I guess it's better to leave a child who is eager to stay than one who is clinging to your legs. She looked like such a big kid when she got off the bus. The first thing she told me was, "Mom! Did you know there are no seat belts on the bus?"

I have always wondered why there are no seatbelts on busses myself. :)
